Piano Concerto No. 2

    The motives used in the two part PianoConcert No.2 (Kuntur Kuteq Yupanqui) are based on various quotes from various festival/street bands I heard in Bolivia in 2025.

    • In Part 1 the 5 trumpets in the main theme are playing in an interval division according to the charango tuning (5 strings).
    • In Part 2 the same theme is accompagnied by the Charango.


    The orchestra line-up is:
    • Piano
    • Charango (part 2), Guitar (part 1)
    • 5 Trumpets
    • 2 Trombones
    • Tuba
    • Didgeridoo
